Obsession

I swear once I have this baby I will stop obsessing about being pregnant.. ha ha
But for now this is my life.. sorry if its border-line OCD.. It runs in my family.
So, inducing labor naturally is just not working for us. I am officially 38.4 days pregnant and I have been walking uphill, eating pineapples (apparently the bromelain in the pineapple causes contractions, I am thinking now you need to live in a pineapple field consuming 10 a day to get the right amount for this technique), pumping (yes, Amanda I have you to thank for this great idea), and other more private techniques.. hmm. ALL with out results. SO, I am now resigning to the fact she is never going to come out. I am pretty sure the "uterus hotel" as Michelle calls it, must be serving her every need and leaving it seems..... absolutely insane. I can't blame her really. Well, as I write this another pointless braxton hicks contractions comes on, like a taunting joke. I don't remember being quite so impatient last time I was pregnant. Although, I did drink an entire bottle of castor oil with Kaleb. That did not go so well.

Highlights from this past week......
-James got his background check forms into the FAA. Next is the Psych evaluation... of course he is nervous about it.. he is so funny.
-Kaleb got 100% again on his spelling test. 26 weeks of school and he has only missed 2 words, we are proud. Speaking of school work.. anyone else with school age kids notice how insane the curriculum is now days. I don't remember learning word problems until 4th grade and they are doing it in first!
-Roz and Maggie (dogs) Roz is in Heat.. she has a diaper on when she is inside. I will post a picture later. Its usually takes her about 10 minutes before she moves after the diaper placement. Then she walks with stick-straight legs, and seems miserable. But its either the diaper or the kennel. She is the most emotional dog I have ever been around. For all of you who have seen multiplicity with Michael Keaton, we compare Maggie to the "special" Steve who is the clone of a clone of a clone.
-Tonight's Agenda- Make shrimp and alfredo noodles for dinner, watch a movie (I am legend or No Reservations) I don't know yet. James is done with homework for the weekend so time to just enjoy the last of days of peace and quiet.

I should have stayed in bed today

Events of the day

1) Late for work
2) Spilled on clothes
3) Induction date was pushed back by 2 days (april 5th)
4) Drove over a curb and may have damaged my car, it didn't sound too good when I was scrapping the bottom on the cement. So far my tires have not gone flat or anything leaking but I am sure something is damaged
5) I drove over the curb because I wanted to get a grape slush from sonic but of course their slush machine was broken so I got out of the drive through line and there apparently was a curb there.
6) I went home and decided to make a homemade slush and the blender tipped over spilling slush everywhere.
7) I am out of grape soda now and still no slush.
8) I think I should work next week even though I want this week to be my last. AHHHH

GOOD THINGS FROM TODAY
1) 3 cm and 75%
2) I got the two movies I have been wanting from blockbuster (no reservations, and Dan in real life)

Appointment vs. Disappointment

Well another appointment has come and gone and my hopes for a grand delivery today were rejected. The doctor hardly had time to discuss my top 10 questions (I guess someone was having a baby or some excuse... ha ha) OH well, there will be an appointment next week. Oh and Kaleb was with this time, we had a fun time keeping him up by mom's head and not head first under the sheet. He loves to check things out..... Gross.

How it all began

James and I met over 2 years ago on LDS Singles. It was love at first sight for both of us. James is a wonderful provider, friend, father, husband, and everything in between. We live in West Jordan and have been there for over a year. We love to spend time hanging out with the family, playing with toys (when we can afford to have them), being outdoors, and snuggling up watching movies. We are expecting our 1st little girl (Sydney Grace) in less than a month! Our little boy Kaleb is almost 7 and he keeps us on our toes. He is planning on starting T-Ball in May and is very excited. James and I are hoping to go through the temple this year and be sealed to our daughter. Someday I am hoping Kaleb can be sealed to us as well. One day at a time though.
