So, How'd You Two Meet?

Not so long ago, people used to be embarrassed to admit they had met their match online.
Now it's become the most common way to find love, according to a survey by eHarmony and Harris Interactive of 10,675 people ages 20 to 54 who got married in 2006 or 2007:
19.4% of newlyweds met online1
7.2% made their love connection through friends
17.2% met their future spouse at work
8.8% learned to love someone they met at school
8.3% found romance at a party or other social gathering

Today is exactly 3 years that I first met James face to face... since we were so ultra trendy and met on-line. It has flown by and I can't believe how much my life has changed since that day. I stepped off the airplane in Denver for an hour lay-over and there he was.... love at first sight

Late night request

After a long story and some some snuggling I was getting Kaleb tucked into bed. I told him if he still has a hard time falling asleep he can come crawl in my bed for a few minutes but he has to try for at least an hour before he can come in. He told me, "okay mom, I will wait, but can you brush your teeth in an hour cause your breath smells and I don't want you breathing on me". How do you like that!

Sydney is moving so fast these days you don't have more than a minute and she is up the stairs and usually eating something nearly invisible (but certainly deadly) off the floor. She loves the thrill of being chased down, and squeels with happiness when her brother pays her attention.
I am so happy with my kids, I just couldn't ask for a better way to start and end the day. I only wish I had more time to enjoy them.
James is still working hard at two jobs, which just means I now have two jobs. I have to say being at home with kids is a much harder work day than just going to my regular 9-5 job. Its never ending, more rewarding, more frustrating and ultimately no monetary pay. I am thinking about going on strike until some negotiations can be met. We will see.
All that and we are still here, healthy and wiser.

New Years

James and I have gotten off to a great start to the new years resolutions. Mine go something like this 1) exercise 2) study with James 3) Finish Physiology class 4) Finish Kaleb and sydney's scrapbooks 5) Make a 4 week dinner calender 6) resist impulsive spending

I love my husband, and I resolve to never be embarassed to say that.. loud and proud, right?

Okay, so maybe this is what happens when I have too many hours alone. James has had to work a lot of extra hours this month. My big goal today was to get my comforter washed and the EZ Coin laundry was closed.. man noone is safe in this economy. Well I had to shove the king sized comforter into my little washer.. I had to wash it twice to ensure all the blanket got wet. HMM.. hopefully that sour milk smell is gone, Sydney is a "nipple pincher" that is when she likes to watch the milk pour out of her bottle more than drink it. Gotta love kids.

I attached some new pictures of Sydney in her new dress, and outfit from grandma debi.
