Updates

I have 2 days left of Maternity leave, then back to work I GO!.. I am going to miss my little girl so much. She recently had her 2 month checkup and got 3 shots! She was not very happy about that. We have been back from Minnesota for 4 days.. and I miss my family so much. It was great to spend time with them. I was so proud of my brother Aaron for changing some bad habits in his life and lose 110 lbs. It was awesome to see him so energized and happy. Amy and her family spent alot of time at my mom's house and it was so much fun to see the Petty's. They are such a fun bunch of kids to be around. Adam and Barb are doing great their dental practice is very successful and they are such a nice couple to spend time with. There little girls Julia and Olivia are adorable. Austin is working at General Mills and is always bringing home grocery bags of General Mills Food. Amanda came to visit for a couple days and it was nice to see her bouncing around. Kaleb played for 23 days non-stop with his cousins. It was so much fun. Some of the highlights were Valleyfair, Mall of America, Walking with the Dinosaurs and just hanging out with everyone. I hope I can stay next year for 3 weeks again!!! I was spoiled. My mom and dad are working on fixing up the basement bathroom. The shower has 3 heads coming from the ceiling, and 2 side walls. It will be a treat to clean up in there. Sorry it had to go so fast! James is doing great in OK, he is coming home for a visit on Friday. He starts Radar next week and is very excited about that. So far he has not seen any Tornados. I have been trying to think of all the things we have to look forward to and here is the short list for the next few months: James home in August, Amy and family coming for visit in July, Sydney starting to crawl, Last class at SLCC and then waiting list for nursing, the fall, and Holiday season.

Never too young!

The last week has been so crazy trying to get ready for this long trip to MN. I am so excited to see my family and just hang our for 3 weeks! James is doing well in OK.. he took his first test on Monday and of course got 100%. What else would you expect from him? He has his lonely days but school is keeping him busy. We have almost burned through 1000 minutes talking at least once a day. I miss him very much.. but I know he is in a happy place (ha ha). Sydney is smiling all the time now and it is so exciting to see her finally start to recognize me. Kaleb has been at his Dad's house for the past couple weeks (part of the agreement to keep Kaleb for 3 weeks).. it is great having him back. He has had a great start to summer and loves to play all day long. I convinced him he is old enough to mow the grass and he seemed to really like it. I think its well worth 5$ a week to have him mow it. I am so ready to get some worry free sleep. It seems like I sit up at night just waiting for something bad to happen. OH and the best news is James got his plane ticket to come home over July 4th weekend. We will have a big DO NOT DISTURB sign on our house! HA HA
