Things we are looking forward to; I am so excited for Sydney's first and Golden b-day, the Jazz game on the 3rd, and MN on the 12th.

Conversations piece of the week; Should there be a cap or penalty on the amount executives of large corporations make?

Sick ol' baby

Our poor Sydney who has remained toothless for 11 months, has now started getting 2 teeth at once. Of course the result is fever, irritability, and generally just feeling lousy. She ran a fever for 2 days and finally the teeth have popped through. I am happy to say she is now feeling much better. James bought the family tickets to Jazz vs Nuggets on Friday however, I ended up staying home with Sydney but James and Kaleb went and had a great time. I even got a souvenir (compliments of Kaleb) a big foam pink finger. I heard it was the best game so far.. so naturally we are going to another game in April. This one is the Jazz vs. Timberwolves so I will cheer for both and either way I will be happy with the win! On Monday, James didn't work until 3pm so naturally he built a new patio in the back with his spare time. I just love him and all he does for our family. The patio looks great with paver stones and a retaining wall. So far March is coming in like a lion, lets just hope April is a lamb.

Note-worthiness

Another week gone and trying to squeeze some exciting news out of the past 7 days is always a challenge. As mentioned previously, Roz is sick. We have decided to go with a conservative treatment which is more or less just to help ease some of her discomfort.
On a happier note Sydney is now a walker or at the very least a part time walker. She goes further and further each day. Kaleb is loving his karate class and I am searching for something for him to do during the summer. James and I are thinking flag football might be fun for him, since he loves to run and chase.
I cleaned up the backyard this weekend and ended up with 3 bags of dog manure. It was a very nice weekend, however I had to take pictures of the weekend for James since he worked everyday. I hope my little energizer bunny does not wear himself out. We are looking forward to less busy times in the coming months. James' job at the airport is going very well and he continues to get more comfortable with it. I am so proud of him and hope he knows how much he is loved!

Roz

We have had some sad news in our family. Our dog, Roz, has developed lymphosarcoma. We are expecting less than 6 weeks with her and in an attempt to make her comfortable we created a bucket list of sorts for her. Here are some of the ideas so far.

1) One more trip to the mountains and run off her leash

2) Eat an entire pack of bacon

3) Sleep on the bed

4) Lay on my favorite rocking chair

5) Get belly rubbed daily

6) Get a big huge bone to munch on

Here is the question for any of you who read this

What would be on a dogs bucket list?

Syndey waving bye bye

What a weekend

I can honestly say I have had a string of, well choose your phrase..bad luck, being tested, trials.. whatever you call it it has been hard and now just plain old humerous! It really all started a couple weeks ago with a traffic ticket (107$), that led to us running over a blown tire on the road which resulted in a broken plastic piece under my car (111$), and friday I broke my lumineer (its like a lee-press on nail for teeth) and I haven't even paid 1/4 of what I owe on it, I am now just waiting patiently for what will come next. I hate complaining about silly things like that, but there has to be others who know what I am going through. These are not huge issues but small nagging ones that just eat on you like chiggers. I am so looking forward to 4 day work weeks for the next couple months. To end this on a good note.. My dogs are finally getting fixed, we had a fun time going to the aquarium on Saturday, and I have my day in court on Tuesday.. wish me luck.

Oh Health

It seems I am constantly and I mean constantly worried about my health. I think it was from my years of abusing my body that I now am just waiting for something bad to appear. I know I have complained too much when my 7 year old can logically give a diagnoses for symptoms he is having. I.E ..... I have not urinated today mom I think I might have a bladder infection, again. or I have been coughing alot, maybe it pnuemonia? and the newest one... at karate class he complained of "muscle weakness and the losing the ability to control his muscles". I really need to be more careful about what I say around him, I wonder if its already too late? I have always been a worrier and now my children are following in the shadow. Maybe, the only upside is he will be too concerned about his health to dare experiment with anything. Life is just so precious and I am realizing that more and more as I get older.
Good news of the week,I have recovered from a possible inflammed pancreas.. good news for me, of course I diagnosed this myself.. so it could have been a poo cramp?
